The HSE has announced two major infrastructure projects for Ennis, which it says will have a significant impact on the provision of health care in the town and surrounding areas.
Two primary health care centres are to be constructed – one on Station Road and one on the Tulla Road.
An agreement has been signed with the developer, and once planning permission has been secured, the projects will take up to 18 months to come to fruition, meaning they could be open to the public by late 2020.
