Two men arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in West Clare have been released without charge.
During the course of a planned operation in Kilrush on Wednesday last week, the two men, one a juvenile and the other in his early twenties were found to be in possession of 850 euro worth of suspected cannabis herb.

They were both arrested and detained at Kilrush Garda Station, but were later released pending submission of an investigation file to the DPP.
The suspected drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
