Two Late Additions To Clare General Election Ticket

There have been two late additions to the general election ticket in the county.

Candidates had until noon today to register their intention to run in the Clare constituency.

Independent Dermot Mulqueen, an artist from the Gort Road and André Sibo Hakizimana, an economic policy consultant, also from the Gort Road have now entered the race for one of four Dáil seats.

The fourteen candidates, who had previously declared their intentions to run have signed their nomination papers.

They're Fine Gael's Pat Breen, Joe Carey and Mary Howard, Labour's Michael McNamara, Fianna Fail's Timmy Dooley, Michael McDonagh and Clare Colleran Molloy, Sinn Féin's Noeleen Moran, Independents Ann Norton, Ian Lynch, Richard Cahill and Dr Michael Harty, the Green Party's Fergal Smith and Fís Nua's Niamh O'Brien.
