A man and a women in their 60’s have been killed in a crash in Cork this morning.
The collision happened on the Mallow road this morning.
The crash involving three vehicles happened on the on the N20 Cork to Mallow Road at the Waterloo Junction at around 11 am this morning.
A man and a woman in their 60s were pronounced dead at the scene after the car that they were passengers in was involved in a collision with a truck.
The driver of the car and the third passenger were taken to Cork University Hospital non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the second car involved was also taken to Cork University Hospital non life threatening injuries .
The driver of the truck was uninjured in the accident.
This stretch of road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
Garda are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
