Two of Clare's main towns have been found to have some of the highest rates of commercial vacancy in Ireland.

A new report from Geo Directory shows Kilrush has the highest number of vacant business premises in Munster.
23.3% of properties there are vacant, the fifth highest in the region, while Shannon has the 7th highest in Ireland at 22%.
Nearly 17% of businesses in Ennis are vacant.
There's been little change in Kilrush and Shannon over the past year and Jack Kelly from Kilrush Chamber says this reflects what he sees on the ground.
