The Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued closure orders against two Clare businesses last month.

The orders were served under the FSAI Act, 1998 on the restaurants of Bay Fish and Chips on Main Street in Liscannor and Casa De Burritos at Unit C, Woodquay in Ennis.
In all, sixteen closure orders were issued throughout the country last month, a figure which has led the Authority to express disappointment.
