Two men have been charged with a number of offences over a high speed chase in Cork, in which a Garda was injured.

27 year old John O'Driscoll from Fairhill was charged with five counts of dangerous driving, taking a van without permission, and theft from a hotel in Glanmire yesterday.
25 year old Damian Fitzgerald from Inniscarra Road in Fairhill was charged with theft and allowing himself be carried in a stolen vehicle.
The two apologised in court, and were remanded in custody to appear in Cork District Court again on Thursday.
