Two Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Limerick Teen

Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a teenager in Limerick.

19-year old Jeffrey Hannan from Southill was bludgeoned to death with an axe handle and left in a field next to his parents house on November 22nd, 2007.

Over 20 people have been arrested as part of the probe but no one has been charged.

This morning Gardai swooped on two houses in Limerick City and arrested two men, aged in their 30s and 40s.

They are being held under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act at Roxboro Road and Henry Street Garda stations.
