Ground has been broken on a major new teaching and research facility at a MidWest third level institution.
The Technological University of the Shannon has commenced the construction of a state of-the-art 5,200 metre squared building at its Moylish Campus in Coonagh.

The facility will be equipped with purpose built laboratories, smarter travel changing rooms, lecture halls and computer rooms and is expected to increase the student population by 700 when it opens in 2027.
