Turkey’s President Vows To Push Through Power Increase

Turkey’s President Erdogan has vowed to press through a big increase in the powers of his office.

That’s despite an unexpectedly narrow win in yesterday’s constitutional referendum.

He got just over 51 per cent of the vote – that could see him stay in power for another 12 years.
