Standards of education at a Tulla School have been complimented in the latest round of Departmental insepction reports.
Teachers and pupils at St. Mochulla’s National School received a favourable review from Department of Education which focused on the teaching of English, Irish Maths and Science in the school last November.
The school has 10 mainstream teachers for 272 pupils, a roll number that has significantly increased in recent years.
The department has recommended that pupils at St. Mochulla’s in Tulla recevie support from just one support teacher where possible and has also called for the extension of in class support for junior classes, while also praising the achievements of staff, parents and pupils at the school.
