The construction of the Tulla Road Active Travel Scheme is underway.
The project, which will see traffic calming measures such as vertically segregated cycle lanes, shared surfaces, tightened junctions and raised crossings, commenced on Tuesday.

Clare County Council says traffic management will be in place for the duration of the construction period and works are beginning on the stretch between Gort na mBláth and Hillcrest.
The local authority has yet to reveal any information relating to the schedule or duration of the works.
