One of Clare's best known musical groups are to receive one of the highest honours in the county tonight.

The internationally-renowned Tulla Pipe Band will receive a civic reception from Clare County Council, in an event marking its 80th anniversary.
The Tulla Pipe Band was established in January 1936, and is one of only a small number of such groups to survive from that time.
This evening's reception will take place at Clare County Council's Chambers in Áras Chontae an Chláir in Ennis.
