Donald Trump’s Doonbeg golf resort is facing legal action from an Irish environmental group.

Friends of the Irish Environment has brought the action over the construction of a sand fence at Doughmore Strand.

The group claims the fence, made of large wooden poles and plastic sheeting, is obstructing the circulation of the sand dunes.

The Trump International Golf Links and Hotel, has also been criticised for using signage with Clare County Council logos on them, which appears to indicate that the structure has been approved by the local authority.
