The billionaire businessman sent a tweet last night in which he said he was setting off for a trip to 'Ireland, Spain, Scotland and elsewhere.'
The former Doonbeg Golf Club, now trading as Trump International Golf Links Ireland, is Trump's main Irish asset.
He completed his purchase of the five-star resort in February, and made a first high-profile visit there in May.
