A West Clare councillor has condemned an incident of criminal damage at Trump International Golf Links and Hotel Doonbeg as an “attack on private property”.
Believed to have taken place between 5pm and midnight on Wednesday, the incident is understood to have involved holes being dug and Palestinian flags being mounted on the site’s golf course.

Gardaí are currently appealing for witnesses and have asked for video footage including dash-cam to be made available to them.
