Truckers, including some from Clare, took part in a blockade of Dublin Port on Monday to highlight their anger over the government's decision not to alter HGV road tax in the Budget.
Now though, the Department of Transport have agreed to facilitate a meeting between the Irish Road Haulage Associatoin and the Finance, Transport and Environment Ministers.
