Nurses at University Hospital Limerick report a new high in the number of patients on trolleys there today.

35 people have been waiting for treatment in the hospital's Emergency Department this morning, while 18 others are being treated in other over-capacity areas of the facility.
The total number of 53 is at least ten more than any other hospital in the country.
