Trolley Numbers Continue To Climb AT UHL With 90 Waiting For Beds

Nurses say the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to climb.

The INMO’s latest trolleywatch analysis shows there were 90 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick during morning rounds, 43 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figures is 17 more than the next busiest facility and comes on a day when there 634 admitted patients waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
