Trolley Numbers Climb At UHL

Trolley numbers at the region’s main hospital are on the rise once again.

The INMO says there were 59 patients without a bed at University Hospital Limerick this morning, the worst figure nationally.

It follows last week’s record figure of 81 at UHL, while the national numbers reached their highest of the year to date yesterday, when 631 were left awaiting a bed.

That number has dropped to 528 today.
