Trolley Numbers Climb Again At University Hospital Limerick

Nurses say the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is on the rise once again.

The latest trolleywatch analysis from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows there were 96 admitted patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning.

The figure is ten more than all ten hospitals serving the east of the country combined, and is 42 more than the second busiest facility in the country; Galway University Hospital.
