Trolley Numbers Climb To 103 At UHL

Trolley numbers are continuting to climb at the region’s main hospital this week.

The latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show there were 103 admitted patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 46 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figure is 41 more than the next busiest facility; Cork University Hospital and comes on day when there were 547 patients waiting for beds at hospitals across the country today.
