The man who died after his car hit a ditch yesterday on the Loughville to Inch Road has been named locally as John Joe Geohegan.

Mr Geohegan was travelling on the route just off the Ennis to Ennistymon Road when the incident occured just after mid-day.
A female occupant of the vehicle suffered non life threatening injuries in the crash.
The crash brings to 155 the number of people who have died on the country's roads so far this year.
Local Cllr James Breen says the 75 year old was well known in GAA circles.
