Tributes are being paid to a ‘well travelled’ member of the Doonbeg Drama Group who passed away earlier this week.
John McGeorge, who was the group’s honorary vice-president, is being laid to rest this afternoon after a funeral mass in the Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, Doonbeg.

He’s survived by his wife Joan and his children Sean, Maria, Louise and Niall.
Rita McInerney, who’s PRO of the Doonbeg Drama Group, says John had many interests throughout his life and will be sadly missed.
