Beloved Doonbeg priest Father Joe Haugh is being remembered as a passionate community man and the driving force behind many of the village’s projects.
The Coolmeen native was laid to rest yesterday, following his death on Saturday.
The highly popular clergyman had served as parish priest in Doonbeg from 1995 to 2008, before which he had also served in Kilmaley, Corofin and Cross.
