Tributes Paid As Supreme Court Justice Passes Away

The Taoiseach is leading tributes to Supreme Court Justice, Adrian Hardiman, who has died suddenly.

He was called to the bar in 1974 and was later appointed to the Supreme Court – directly from the Bar – in 2000.

In a statement, Enda Kenny says 'he had a long and illustrious legal career and was one of the great minds of our time'.

Chief Justice Susan Denham described Justice Hardiman 'as a man who made great and courageous efforts on behalf of those who sought justice'.
