Tributes are being paid to a young Galway hurler following his tragic death last evening.

22-year old Niall Donoghue, from Kilbeacanty near Gort, was part of the Tribesmen side that win the Leinster title last season and also played in last year’s All-Ireland Final.
Donoghue was also part of the U21 team which won the All-Ireland title in 2011.
