Tributes are being paid to a former East Clare GP who has been killed in what's being described as a tragic accident.

Dr. Ross O'Driscoll, who had formerly worked as a doctor in Scarriff, lost his life after an incident near his Tuamgraney home on Monday in which his shotgun was accidently discharged.
He's survived by his brothers and sisters, and will lie in reposal at St. Joseph's Church, Tuamgraney this evening before funeral mass tomorrow.
