Tributes are continuing to be paid to a late Lahinch man who’s being described as ‘a real community leader’ in North Clare.
Tomsie O Sullivan, a long serving activist synonymous with the RNLI, passed away at his Station Road home at the age of 90 on St Patrick’s Day.
He was laid to rest in Ennistymon over the weekend.
Tomsie is predeceased by his wife Marie, and is survived by his son Owen and daughters Selina, Joan and Helen.
Michael Vaughan of Vaughan’s Lodge in Lahinch, who’s a close friend of the family, says it’s an extremely sad time for the community.
