The trial of a North Clare man charged over the death of Ballyvaughan woman Deirdre McCarthy has been adjourned until next week.

40 year old Colm Deely of School Road, Ballyvaughan is charged with the murder of the 43 year old guest house worker at a place unknown in County Clare on or about March 28th 20-11.
The case was listed to begin at the Central Criminal Court which is sitting in Galway Courthouse for the next three weeks- but has been adjourned until next Tuesday the 22nd of January.
