Gardaí are advising motorists to drive with care on the main Ennis to Kilrush road this morning, as heavy rain has led to treacherous driving conditions.
It follows a single vehicle collision on the N68 between Caherea and Lisseycasey around 6 o’clock this morning.

Units from Clare County Fire Service, Gardaí and Ambulance attended the scene.
Diversions were in place for a time this morning, but the road has since re-opened.
There are no reports of injuries.
