Gardaí are warning of dangerous driving conditions across Clare this morning following heavy rain overnight.

Back roads are said to have a significant amount of surface water on them and drivers are being asked to slow down and to use your dipped headlights.
Up to 60 milimetres of rain has fallen in parts of the country with many roads impassable and two weather warnings still in place.
Flooding has also closed roads in parts of Dublin, Meath, Louth and Kildare, and there's widespread surface water on many routes, so motorists should take extra care.
