The Transport Minister says his Department has no intention of closing any rail stations.

It comes as the future of the Ennis to Athenry Rail line has come under the microscope, after being listed as one of the worst performing in the country.
A review of Irish Rail's finances has found that closing the line could save over 2.85 million euro a year.
However, Minister Shane Ross told the Seanad he's against closures:
