Traffic disruption is expected around Ennis in the coming days as the county town gets ready for the festive period.
Clare County Council has issued a notice of locations which will have temporary traffic management systems in place as the Christmas Lights for 2017 are installed in the town between today and Thursday November 16th.
The works will begin each evening at 6.30pm and run to 1.30am
The schedule of works is as follows:
Tuesday November 7th: Abbey Street, Bank Place and Francis Street near Queens Hotel
Wednesday November 8th: O’Connell Street
Thursday November 9th: Abbey Street Car Park
Monday November 13th: Market Street and Lower Market Street & Barrack Street
Tuesday November 14th: Parnell Street Car Park and Wood Quay
Wednesday November 15th: Parnell Street
Thursday November 16th: O’Connell Square
