Traffic Delays Expected In Ennis As Works Take Place At Busy Junction

Delays are expected in part of Ennis over the coming month, as works are carried out to improve traffic management at the junction of Carmody Street and the Kilrush Road.

From this evening, the ESB will begin laying new electrical cables and ducting at the junction, after which road works will be carried out and new traffic lights installed.

The works, which will take four weeks in total will result in new signals for turning right and for pedestrian crossing, new road markings and a better road surface.
