It's hoped that solar-powered speed detection signs installed in Clare's largest housing estate will help to reduce the number of road traffic accidents in the area.

Clare County Council has erected the warning signs in Wesbury, where there are more than 1,000 homes.
The area has also been chosen as a pilot estate for a new 30 kilometre per hour speed limit and signage will be installed in the coming weeks.
