Tourists have been targetted by criminals who broke into their cars in incidents in North and South-East Clare over recent days.

Two cars were broken into near the Cliffs of Moher last Tuesday and Wednesday, with items including cash and a mobile phone taken.
Meanwhile, at O'Briens Bridge, two German nationals who were sleeping in their car were woken by masked men who threatened them, and stole items including money and passports.
Gardaí are investigating.
