Tourists And Locals In Lahinch ‘Crying Out For Extra Bins’

Tourists and locals alike are said to be up in arms about a lack of public bins on the promenade in Lahinch.

Local councillor Bill Slattery claims there are just eight bins along the entire promenade which are under extreme strain at the height of the tourist season.

The lack of available space for rubbish has meant that bags have been left beside bins overnight, which are ravaged by animals in darkness and leaving an unsightly mess behind.
