Lisdoonvarna’s Wild Honey Inn has been named as Clare’s Best Restaurant.
The North Clare eatery claimed the top prize at the Munster Regional Final of the Irish Restaurant Awards, which were held this week.
They named David Hurley of The Dining Room at Gregans Castle Hotel in Ballyvaughan as Best Chef, while that location was also named the Best Hotel Restaurant.
Other North Clare winners included L’Arco Italian Restaurant in ballyvaughan – best for Casual Dining – Ginger Lou’s in Ennistymon, which was the Best Newcomer and Moy House in Lahinch which captured the Best Customer Service honour.
Best Gastro Pub is Morrissey’s in Doonbeg, the Earl of Thomond at Dromoland Castle Hotel won Best Wine Experience while The Pipers Inn in Killaloe was Pub of the Year.
