A toddler remains in a serious condition at Limerick Regional Hospital after being kicked by a horse.

The incident happened as the 2 year old was playing in a housing estate in Thurles in Tipperary yesterday afternoon.
He was airlifted to hospital by the Shannon Coastguard Helicopter and is currently being treated at Dooradoyle for head injuries.
