A leading housing charity claims some Clare renters are having their monthly payments increased by as much as 66 percent.
It follows figures from the Residential Tenancies Board which show the average rent in this county is now around 950 euro per month, which is an increase of 10 percent in the past year.
It’s led to renewed calls for Clare to be considered a Rent Pressure Zone.
