Three new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Co. Clare.
The cases have been announced tonight by the National Public Health Emergency Team, and bring the total number of cases here to 372.
These are the first new cases of coronavirus announced in Clare for two weeks, but that case, it was later confirmed, was an earlier diagnosis that was re-classified to Clare after a process of data validation.
It’s not known if these are fresh diagnoses, or as a result of a similar re-classification.
Nationally, there have been no further deaths linked to COVID-19, while 12 new cases of the virus have been confirmed, according to latest figures from NPHET.
It means the death toll remains at 1,764, while the total number of cases has reached 25,881.
