Three Clare students have won Special Merit Awards in this year’s Texaco Children’s Art Competition.
17-year-old Bríde Davis from Kilrush Community College, 15-year-old Mahia Rahman from Ennis Art School and 13-year-old Colaiste Mhuire student Emily Barrow scooped the prizes this week.
Final Adjudicator Professor Declan McGonagle says all three entries from this county ‘demonstrated high levels of skill and imagination’.

The competition is celebrating its 67th anniversary this year, with award announcements having been pushed back due to the pandemic.
