The ESB is reporting thousands of clare customers are without power this evening.

The worst affected areas include Ennis, Ennistymon, Kilkee, and Kilrush and Drumquinn,
Crews have now started repairs, but are being hampered by ongoing high winds and nightfall.
ESB say people should stay away from fallen lines, and reports serious incidents to their Emergency number on 1850 372 999.
