Christmas came early for thieves in West Clare who targeted a trailer carrying thousands of euro worth of tools.
The silver Ifor Williams Tipping Trailer was stolen from Mountrivers in Doonbeg, some time between 10pm on December 19th and 8am the following morning.
Gardaí in Kilkee are investigating and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area to notify them.
