Over 36,000 people visited the Clare museum last year.
New figures show the Ennis-based attraction experienced a 14% rise in the number of people visiting there in 2016, compared to the previous year.
30% were from here in Ireland, the biggest visiting group, while 27% were from the United States and people travelling from the UK, France and Germany were also prominent.
A survey carried out by Clare Museum shows visitors stayed for an average of 30 minutes and the success of the Museum's educational programme was a factor in attracting growing visitor numbers during the year.
