Thousands of homes in Clare are without power tonight.
The ESB’s PowerCheck website shows more than 9,500 customers in the Ardnacrusha area and its surroundings are without electricity since approximately 8pm.
Power is estimated to be restored to those customers by 11.30 tonight.
