Thousands In Clare Expected To Attend Papal Visit

Thousands of people from Clare are expected to attend at least one of the events being held for Pope Francis’ visit this week.

550 tickets have been issued to parishes across Clare for the Croke Park event alone, with hundreds more expected to attend the Phoenix Park mass and Knock event.

Pope Francis is in Ireland for a two day visit this coming weekend as part of the World Meeting of Families.
