Over a third of voters think our abortion laws could be changed, without repealing the 8th amendment.

A new poll in today’s Irish Times shows that 38 per cent agree the law – which protects the right to life of the unborn – could be replaced with another amendment to give greater access to terminations.

10 per cent fewer people want to see it repealed to give the Dáil power to legislate for abortions.
