Thieves managed to steal two cars, after breaking into a house in Shannon.
A Garda investigation is underway, after a home was targeted in the Dun Aras Estate sometime between 10.30pm on Friday, December 27th and 6am the following morning.
The perpetrators gained access by damaging the barrel in the front door, after which they located keys to two cars, which were subsequently removed from the property.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Catriona Holohan is appealing to anyone with information on the incident, or the movement of the two cars to come forward.
“During the course of this burglary the perpetrators stole two sets of keys and two vehicles were stolen from outside the property. The two vehicles were a Grey Volkswagen Passat and a White Audi A3.
“One of the vehicles was subsequently located in Limerick, the white Audi A3”.
